La mia proposta in gara riguarda la nazionale egiziana, la cui partecipazione nel 1990 fu la penultima soltanto dopo la recente apparizione nei Mondiali di Russia nel 2018.
.
Gli anni '90 sono rievocati in questa maglia dal disegno che strizza l'occhio ad uno dei design più iconici di Adidas prodotti in quel periodo ovvero il "bruised banana", in questo caso tono su tono, combinato ad elementi riguardanti il periodo fastoso dell'Antico Egitto, tra questi una rappresentazione stilizzata del Faraone, figura di riferimento del potere egizio – da cui deriva il soprannome della nazionale ovvero "i Faraoni" – e l'Ankh, che per la civiltà egizia era simbolo della vita.

Il font per i numeri, creato anche questo da zero, cerca di riproporre vuoti e pieni per creare le tipiche tre strisce di Adidas con uno stile che fa riferimento ai geroglifici.

My proposal for this contest is about the Egyptian National Team, whose participation in 1990 was the penultimate only after the recent appearance in 2018 World Cup in Russia.
.
'90s are represented in this shirt with a design that winks at one of the most iconic designs of Adidas produced in that period, "bruised banana", in this case tone on tone, combined with elements concerning the sumptuous period of the Ancient Egypt, like a stylized representation of the Pharaoh, reference figure of the Egyptian power - from which comes from the nickname of the national or "the Pharaohs" - and the Ankh, which for the Egyptian civilization was symbol of life.

The font for numbers, also created from scratch, tries to reproduce empty and full to create the typical three Adidas stripes with a style that refers to hieroglyphics.

Not such a fantastic period, they collect a 4th and 6th position in La Liga and collect two elimination in National Cup at first round.
